IS THIS SERVICE RIGHT FOR ME?
The assessment and treatment offered by Footscope is an integral part of the management of many conditions and symptoms. If your pains or concerns are related to your walking, sporting or even just standing posture, our service is relevant for you. It does not depend on how old you are or the level of activity, we will tailor our assessment to your age, medical condition and how active you are.
IS THIS SERVICE RIGHT FOR MY PATIENT?
Working closely with fellow health professionals and sports trainers is an important part of our service. We will of course keep you informed of your patient’s progress with us and provide you with a detailed report of our findings. If there are specific areas you would like us to focus on during our assessment, please do not hesitate to let us know.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO MY APPOINTMENTS?
The following list outlines what we would like you to bring to your initial and gait analysis appointment. Please do not hesitate to contact the clinic directly if you have any questions or queries.
-

-
T-shirt, vest or similar tops to help assess movement of the arms and upper body
-

-
A list of your current medication
-
Any relevant copies of previous X-rays, MRI or other scans
-

DO YOU ACCEPT ALL METHODS OF PAYMENT?
We accept cash, cheque, BACS and card payments.
IS THE SERVICE COVERED BY MEDICAL INSURANCE?
In most cases, yes. For further information, please see the insurance information at the top of the page or contact us.
CAN I BE ASSESSED AND TREATED DURING A SHORT TRIP TO LONDON?
Yes. In most cases can arrange to assess you and provide relevant therapies as urgent cases. The orthotic laboratories we work with provide expedited services and we can also arrange to have devices sent directly to your home country or hotel. Our Central London location is ideally located to cater for Embassy-based clients.
IF I'M PRESCRIBED ORTHOTICS/INSOLES, CAN I WEAR THEM IN DIFFERENT SHOES?
Yes. We aim to manufacture them to fit your foot rather than the shoe. However, the shoe must be of an appropriate style and shape to accommodate the orthotic/insole. For example, an orthotic designed to support your foot in a running shoe may not fit correctly in heeled shoes.
HOW LONG DO ORTHOTICS LAST?
This depends on what type of activities they are worn for, the prescription type, whether they are worn part-time or full-time, and numerous other factors.

The UK laboratories we use to manufacture your orthotics use only the highest quality materials and are made to exceptional levels of workmanship.
